Hi everyone, I have defected from the clubXM forum! SSSSHHHHH! :lol:

My name is Russ, and some of you will know me from the rallies (or from the XM forum), where I sell XM/BX engine bay and total sticker decals.
Late last year I was asked by a chap restoring a 16Ver, if I could make up one of those little metal plates that are stuck on the centre console of manual BX's. No idea what to call them! :lol:
He said if they weren't damaged, they were most likely missing in most cars and of course aren't really easy to get hold of.

So with this in mind, I have had some made up. They are proper brushed anodised aluminium with the black shift pattern printed on top. I worked from an original plate, so they are as accurate as I can get them.
They don't have any adhesive backing, as I thought I would leave it up to the individual to choose how to stick them.
They cost £8.50 each including postage in the UK. Add an extra £1.00 for international. Paypal is great. I have them listed on ebay too.

Just a quick note Russ. Not all BX's have reverse gear in the same position on the H gate. Mine is up and on the left.

Hi Mark, ahhh thanks for pointing that out. I was told they would be for a certain gearbox and not all BX manuals to be honest with you. Can you not just move some cogs in the gearbox around!! :lol:

I'd like a reverse by first one if your plan works Russ, although I suppose I should be concentrating on fixing the actual gearbox first!

Also, just wanted to say, the 16V plates...the first ones I had made up, have a plastic protective film that needs to be peeled off.
