This is the contact details of the transporter owner/driver who recently shipped my new acquisition from London to Manchester via Shiply but will happily give much better quotes directly. I couldn't fault his service and have no qualms recommending him. His direct fee (after Shipley fee's) was £165 for a 600+ mile return journey. He just needs collection and delivery addresses + contact no.s for both locations.

Perhaps this could be a pinned post with other owners adding any recommendations or avoiders. As BX's become increasingly rare the acquisition / sale of them is therefore an increasingly national requirement rather than a local one and this may help do the deal for any serious buyers.

To add to this; I obviously also highly recommend Shiply who I have now used on 3 occasions with great success. You simply fill out the details of your request on their website which is a very simple and quick process then wait for the quotes to come in. If you ignore all the quotes for a day or 2 they appear to get less and less.

Castleford trailers are good around this area in Yorkshire.
Recently had to move a BX on knees and their pump / tilt trailers have a very low load angle.
£60 / day.
Not connected in any way just impressed with price and quality of the trailer I hired.
