Hi everyone
Just found this site and as an old timer still fixing citroens, I thought I would introduce myself.
I was the first mechanic along with a few others that attended the first ever BX training course at Slough back in 1983.
The BX was my speciality along with the 2CV,GSA and Visa/LNA and went on to repair every Citroen since then, oooh and still do!!!
I won 3 citroen training awards back in the 80s and cured the BX diesel ripping of its alternator belt back in 1984 as sales were stopped until this fault was cured.
I will try and give as much advice as I can, once ive got my brain transported back to the great days of the BX. I do miss my re-pipes and rear suspension arm bearing repairs.......ahhh the good old days.
I may also have a few parts available if anyone wants to ask as I do tend to save stuff and thanks for letting me reminisce.

The Joy of BX with just one Citroën BX to my name now. Will I sing Bye Bye to my GTI or will it be Till death us do part.
