Hi Ste

Hard to find now as most have been donored out years ago, keep an eye on the usual (car and classic and ebay), be prepared to pay £2500 plus for a half tidy one, and worry more about rust than hydraulics etc, bumpers especially on P2 cars are very hard to source so make sure they are sound.
Lots of Motors, mostly semi broken....

Thanks
I didn’t think it would be easy, I’ve owned a few over the years and fancy another one now.

Howmanyleft suggests 22 taxed, 100 sorned. That suggests 100 projects lying around many that could probably be persuaded in to a new home. I'd say there's half a chance, just keep trawling eBay and the classic car websites.

I'm hoping to make it 23 taxed, 99 sorned before the end of the year.

I wonder just how realistic that 100 on SORN really is.

Yeah good point, all those 205's found their engines somewhere, even still a rolling shell could warrant something more modern as a power plant, don't think it will be too long before you see resurected valvers fitted with the likes of 206 gti180 running gear, and technically still 16v.
Now there's a thought for the old diesel estate......
