power steering rack LHD replacement

Hello,

I purchased a lhd mk1 estate earlier in the year (some of you may know it as i think it has been talked about on here before) So i have finally got around to starting to bring it back into use and there is play in the steering rack, I was wondering if anyone knows if the steering rack was used on any other cars aside from the bx?
