PETROL tank wanted

Diesel tank is the same as in fuel-injected petrols, apart from the squirrel-filter in the suction pipe in diesel that has much bigger holes than petrol one. Difference between these two compared to carebburated BX tank is, that they have a "sump" or a lowered section where the suction pipe sits. I'm not sure if the suction/return pipe part is the same in both, or if it's taller in diesel/injected.

There was one being broken on eBay recently, whether they will want to remove the tank is another matter, it's not the easiest job. Sods law I scrapped a tzd shell with a tank in just a few weeks ago.

I have a tank if still needed removed from a diesel estate I can check part numbers tomorrow on servicebox if needed

I'm in France until Friday but should be able to get it out the week after. If your going to the Chevron's rally I could take it there if your not sorted out and it fits

Chevrons is next weekend, near milton keynes, little Horwood. If you want the tank, I'd like a tenner just to cover the haslle in getting it out if thats ok.

Its just a standard shabby bumper i'm afraid. Its not an upper spec car, just a tgd with a posher interior fitted.
