TGD Auto

Post by ken newbold »

Tonight I've seen an immaculate H reg white 19tgd Auto parked in Wakefield.

It's a car I've actually worked on but I last saw it just before Christmas with a seriously gone headgasket.

Turns out a mate of mine bought it from it's last owner in Leeds for next to nothing and has fitted a "new" engine from a 205. He said it took him ages to do, as there was loads of things to change over from the pug engine to suit Citroen and even more because it was an auto. But he said it just seemed a shame to let such a lovely example get broken up.

I'll get some photos of it next time I go past it.

Tim, PM sent but i'm sure you'd get a lot more than 25 quid for it if you MOT'd it as its a nice car. With just a couple of brake flexi hoses at 15 mins per side (chilling out!) it would seem well worth it.

Thanks Ian, I intend to MOT it, did you want to volunteer to do the flexis then lol! Am awaiting news on a bumper still tho which is halting the progress.

Next few weeks would be ideal.....

I've got to repair the roof line on this Ami and it has been requested a good job rather than a quick job is done so i'm not sure how long it'll take me.

Oh and the bloody uni rubbish.... :x
