Radio cd/cassette player

Post by Meter rat »

Looking for a working 1990’s CD player or a cassette player, if nothing suitable cd wise. My one is eating self from the inside out, and modern ones look shite in the bx, and have stupid small buttons that are just to small.

I disagree with that I have a Sony cd headunit in my BX and find it just the job and quite user friendly, there are several retro looking units on the market that wouldn't look too out of place, why would you even want to buy a 20 year old cd player or tape deck that will scratch your cd's and eat your cassettes?

I might have the original Clarion knocking about from my old BX. It's yours if you want it? No idea if it works, it was pretty rubbish when installed.

Also, a vintage but very useful radio that suits the BX is the Blaupunkt Woodstock
It was the first in car DAB and does CD's too. I thought it was ace in Bluey.
