Hi all.
just a question i purchased a silicon induction hose from mr baker hoses
nice blue one problem is i took the old one off then tried the existing 2 hoses
on the old one onto the new induction but was a bit larger so put the old one
back on now how do i get round this .

I presume you are talking about the air hoses which give more air at cold start time. You might have to get replacement hoses in silicone and stretch them on. Or get in touch with Mr Baker about their wrongly sized replacement.

Wont be doing that spoken to him before some time back when i was after the matrix
hoses he wouldn't split a kit thanks anyway but i will get a length of silicon hose.

I'm not totally sure what you're asking, to be honest. I probably know the answer though, as I've been there and done all this on the 16v!

Hi, hello kitch what i'm saying as above took my induction hose off to replace
a new silicon one before went while the one was in my hand i went to connect
the 2 air hoses of the old one onto the new induction hose they seemed very loose
want happy with that so put old hoses back on the car and left it at that.

I have a silicone hose between AFM and Throttle Body, from Baker's. The BX 16v AFM hose came about by accident, Baker's sent the wrong hose to the supplier, but fortunately kept the mould and made some up for us.

For this reason the hoses for the ICSV where never made in silicone.

They are different sizes at each end, so be careful if you try to buy stock hose.
