Hi all happy Easter! Hope this is the first of many posts and questions
I'm wanting a petrol MK1 hatchback anyone got something suitable that isn't a pile of rust? Or know of one available please let me know. No huge rush, but don't let me change my mind
thanks for having me onboard!

Morning and welcome to the bx club
Mk1 cars are pretty much extinct now, they do show up very rarely on eBay etc, but are normally snapped up quickly
Unlike most Mk2 cars, alot of the surviving Mk1 are petrol instead of diesel
You may need to look further afield (France).

Good luck finding a rust free one, unless you're particular about having the mk1 dashboard the other option is to get a mk2 and swap the wings. Even still they'll prob have rust issues, it was the bx's biggest killer.

They do show up Ed
What I would say is buy on condition more than colour/spec and be prepared to get your hands dirty or find someone to work on it
A mint Mk1 BX that needs nothing you wont find unless its been fully restored.

No half-measures, then!
Do post some photos and details.
