Resolved the issue with low idle speed on a cold start
Ordered some LHM fluid, as I am a little low
Started my search for some LHM flushing fluid and to find somewhere local to change my cam belt etc
Ordered a snow foam attachment for my Pressure washer
Dug out my old socket and spanner set, together with some jump leads. Deposited them in the boot !
Went for a nice drive in a lovely, though very dirty car.

Now there is.
Snow foaming a BX
full disclosure - I stole this idea from a Freelander 2 forum years ago - zero kudos to me

Nothing. I haven't even been in the garage today. There's so much s##t in there I'm not even contemplating doing anything to the bx until the skip comes and I can claim my space back.
I did have some new tyres fitted on my van today if that counts.

Owning and driving a 30 year old car is pretty much like owning a listed house. Just because you live in it dosnt mean stuff ain’t broke, and isn’t getting ready to bite you in the arse very soon.
So yes. I am expecting trouble. Just hoping it’s minor

In the 12yrs I used my t/d as a daily driver it only never got me home twice, once when the alternator went at Charing Cross Hospital London, and second when the ignition barrel fell apart just a few miles from home, limped it home a few times on a slipping clutch and a broken rear brake pipe, I don't think that's bad in 200k's.
Hail the reliability of the xud engine.
I really must make the effort to get it back on the road this year.

You can't have too many cars Tim. You just need a much bigger garage.

Thought about mine in the garage. I need to check it over for an MOT to be able to use it again but it felt too chilly today to go out and play. Also I need to fit a new front exhaust pipe I bought from Germany last year before Brexit made that sort of purchase economically unviable. Thank you Boris.
