Not a bx, but probably rarer, a T plate 1979 Opel Monza in Harlington High St. Not seen one of those on the road for years.

Re: Spotted today
That is a rare site, I know of a MK III Cortina which looks to be in use, reminds me of NHK 296M.....Answers below but it's not hard and there's no prize.
There's a few vehicles here that might be of interest.
A 405 MI 16v for starters.
You can even get your own diesel pump, imagine that in your garage.

Prefer it to the Lamborghini, like Signor Gandini!

Re: Spotted today
Yes I agree very rare especially in this country. Not a car that turned me on in the day or now. Was the Ford Capri its rival.
Both 16 and 8v BXs were faster and obviously better.
I wonder how classic car appreciation will have changed in 30 years time in the new electric/H world.
Its a funny thing but there are two Morris Minors in regular use locally but whilst I appreciate the attraction of running an older car they still do nothing for me because (I assume) I disliked them quite a lot in the day after I had one as my company car for several years. I still remember the dreaded rear axle wind up in reverse.

The Joy of BX with just one Citroën BX to my name now. Will I sing Bye Bye to my GTI or will it be Till death us do part.

Re: Spotted today
Yes it was the bigger brother of the Manta with the front end not dissimilar of the Carlton/Record, with wiper/washers on the headlights, (how cool were they to a 10 Yr old kid) suppose its nearest rival would have been the bigger engine capri or a Celica Supra early era.
In 30 years will petrol still be available? To run your classic.
