Back in 1976 my nan and grandad brought a new Marina 1.3 Auto 4 door saloon in Hearing Aid Beige with brown interior it's reg was ***245P can't remember it fully, it was the same colour as next doors Austin 1300.

I lived in a village near Oxford in the 70s. You could tell if someone worked for British Leyland at the time because they all had Morris Marinas, mostly estates or Princesses if they were upper middle management. I was envious of those that had spacious Marina Estates as I charged around in my cramped Triumph Spitfire.
