JBL sub bass pro sl2 thoughts

I am considering getting one of these

Has anyone used one - what’s your experience?
Hopefully it will fit under the front seats. Will measure when home Monday

Yes I know speaker cabs which are large perform better. However I don’t want anything in the boot.
I did that in the 90’s with a custom jbl case and 4x18’s on a push pull setup. Great. But mad

Trying to get a great sound without cutting any holes or adding boxes.

I have done this on a couple of my BXs under the passenger seat. I used this one: Clarion SRV 313 Powered Subwoofer,
It certainly provides a lot more sound and bass. The bass is not subtle it thumps away quite nicely but is very one note. Bert Jansch sounds much like Lemmie but its great sometimes to just bop along with it all.
The Joy of BX with just one Citroën BX to my name now. Will I sing Bye Bye to my GTI or will it be Till death us do part.

Certainly a good idea. I would personally be replacing the original speakers, if you haven’t already, and adding sound deadening first before adding an under seat sub.

New door speakers and new tweeters are on the way.
I may replace the white foam insulation behind the door cards with something more modern and effective.
