Peugeot 405 engine
Does a Peugeot 405 18 TD engine fit a Citroen Bx TRD?

Yes. It just misses the place for hydraulic pump pulley (in 405 I think there´s a vacuum pump as in Xantia?). I made a thread to a Xantia camshaft, as the size is the same, it just misses a little length and a groove for the key. Just that I haven´t tested yet does it work.. But I don't knoe if you can fit the hydraulic pump around where the pug has the power steering pump?

Ok but maybe the Bx camshaft fits the 405 head.

Yes if you have a donor from BX the cam and cover fits. The main problem is if you snap the timing belt you also snap the cam and a bearing cap or two, so BX cams are getting more and more rare all the time.
