I've removed the wheels on my BX once, to have them powder-coated. Now they're back on, but dang if I can find the torque spec. anywhere. Not in Haynes? Owner's Manual - no. Web search, no. Only posts on the forums are about broken wheel bolts, and some advice to be careful using impact drivers. 19mm bolt heads, if that makes any difference.
As an aside, our Citroen mechanic/parts guy in Dallas supplied parts recently to the owner of a BX 4TC from the Group B rally days...it's in Pennsylvania. That makes 8 BXes in the USA, but I hear there may be more. Three right here in the Dallas-Fort Worth area.
So, how many newton-meters??

Re: Wheel Bolt Torque BX 19 GTI
Steel wheels 8 kgf.m, 57.8 lbf.ft (78 Nm)
Alloy wheels 9 kgf.m, 65.1 lbf.ft (88 Nm)
Hidden away in Haynes, chapter 7 on Driveshafts, hubs, wheels and tyres.
Not obviously in my Owner's handbook either.
Add a little label to your A-post?

Re: Wheel Bolt Torque BX 19 GTI
Thanks! Found it in the old (brown cover) Haynes, but the newer version (blue cover) has different Chapter names - it's under Ch. 11, Suspension and Steering.
