Oil gauge
Is the oil gauge the oil pressure or oil level. Would a low readind, red flashing light, on trd with 450k indicate that its time for a rebuild?

Re: Oil gauge
I'm fairly sure it's for oil pressure and if the needle is on the red then either the sensor has broken or you've lost pressure.

Re: Oil gauge
What model of BX? If it states no "Bar" in the reading, its, just the level. If the low pressure light is flashing, I would measure the oil pressure and if OK just change the sensor. Or just change the sensor if meter not available..
BX 4x4 estate, several BX Van's and some more normal estates in Finland.
