Citroen Car Club National Rally - 9th of July 2022

Post by Vanny »

I believe the CCC National Rally is on the 9th of July this year.

2022 marks the 40th anniversary of the BX launch (in France, didnt get to the UK until a year later), if there anything happening?

Not seen any of the usual advertisements, excellent fliers, discussions on social media etc. It's not in the CCC FB events list either which is odd.

Does anyone know if it is happening? Have I missed the discussions somewhere?

You are right Vanny I have missed the fanfares too but I am planning to go up either Saturday or Sunday depending on when the best attendance will be.

I've seen this on the CCC website about a month ago, so I assume that it's going ahead. I won't be able to make it on the Saturday, but assuming nothing comes up closer to the time, I'm hoping to go on the Sunday.

Ah, there is a poster! It's hidden on Facebook in 'Featured' which can't be seen on a mobile phone and isn't prominent on a PC.

No event information on FB or the CCC website, which is a little unusual as it's generally kept up to date.

Hope the National went well. Sadly Covid finally caught up with me this week, so a lot of carefully laid plans have fallen apart...

Bad luck Jonathan. I hope you are not suffering too much with it. Get well soon.

Thanks, just feel very drained. And annoyed that it has coincided with a week's holiday!
