Hey all!
Today I took apart the entirety of the door latching mechanism on the drivers' door on my BX (left door, its a LHD), just to find that the reason for the "door open" display doesn't work is because the little contact leaf in the switch that senses the door as "open" is broken. Now, this proved impossible to repair as the switch assembly is sealed from factory. However, the door latch works beautifully and I don't feel like replacing it. Now, here's asking. Does anyone have those switches loose? If not, does anyone have a bunch of door latches of unknown state (with the black and white lead hanging off it - for cars with "door open" displays) that they'd be willing to part with? I'd love to get my display back up and running, especially now that I know that the wiring is good.
Thanks!
