Re: Christmas Day
Yes, got a few things, definitely no BX stuff, don't want to increase the speculative unused item stock any more. I've been trying to reduce possessions that are not used, sold, charity or dumped. .
Probably should be a new year's resolution, do you have any?
Happy Christmas.

In your state of warranted euphoria, I can fully understand that, buying things you know will be used now or even in the future helps.
Planning on anything particular or just things as the come up, memorabilia etc.
I couldn't see that Magazine again but didn't get into Smith's who had a better selection, could still be there. If I see it, I will get the name.

Re: Christmas Day
Anything that comes my way that's of interest or useful really. I did have some brochures from years ago, I actually got them from the dealers when the cars were still on sale, but I think they went during the cull when the bookshelf collapsed on the wife under the strain of my coffee table car books I'll probably start with a few useful, and specific, tools like a sphere tool and sump plug adapter, I'd like a pipe flaring tool but I think that can wait a few years. I've got the Citrovisie book which I find myself gravitating to in moments of boredom.Dave_16v wrote: Mon Dec 25, 2023 6:32 pm In your state of warranted euphoria, I can fully understand that, buying things you know will be used now or even in the future helps.

A 12th scale GT model is now on the shelf with a nice pile of BX GT 'T' shirts in the drawer which is nice. I'm well on the way to BX geekness

Re: Christmas Day
I have a friend in France who sent me some launch brochures and magazine articles plus a model BX which is a 4 TC
Naturally I have the BX brochures, one with the Black 16v on the front , also a ZX Volcane with the Venetian red on the cover.

Re: Christmas Day
I got myself a new priority valve for 15 quid and a set of GT wheel trims.
Proudly daily driving a 1989 BX 16 TRS since 2021

Re: Christmas Day
I'm in France for a month or two so have taken the opportunity to gift myself some parts which are not available in UK but there is still stock to be had here to take back with me. The weather is better too where I am as well.
The Joy of BX with just one Citroën BX to my name now. Will I sing Bye Bye to my GTI or will it be Till death us do part.
