Help find H767 BEG?

Post by jamescarruthers »

I know my old car "Bluey" had a few loving owners after me but then suffered from an electrical melt down and has probably not seen the road since 2017.

Would anyone on here know what happened to him? I'd really appreciate it if someone could ask on the Facebook group, which I understand is much more active than our forum these days.

Speculation is not difficult for a car on SORN. It is sitting, probably unloved, somewhere and quietly ageing away.

Yes the FB is more active than here but I am not convinced that it is a better medium than a forum for any discussion of technical mods or problems because it is not indexed in any way and searching seems hit or miss. But many use it and love it and ignore the ads, data mining and megabucks earnings it accumulates.

I am on FB but am not the one to ask for you I am afraid. It is frustrating, even annoying to use as there is no flow of information without clicking or tapping all the time to reveal conent.

Bah humbug,
The Joy of BX with just one Citroën BX to my name now. Will I sing Bye Bye to my GTI or will it be Till death us do part.

Bah humbug,
A fellow humbugger! Yes, I am against it in general too put can see that there are some positive sides that I am missing out on- on balance, I decline it in my life and its for the better. I sneakily have my wife as a member on a few Facebook groups for cars I like (Citroen BX and Volvo 480) and when I do have a quick look over her shoulder it does seem to be people asking the same thing over and over again. She is, however, against Bluey coming home to be repaired and live again so I thought I had better not ask her help this time!

No worries Tim. Feels like about five minutes ago I took it for one last drive. C’est la vie, non?
