Wanted rear brake calipers

Post by Kieron g »

Looking for a pair of rear brake calipers for my 16rs.
One of mine has a seized piston, both have the pipe fitting sheared off flush which I can't shift.
Also source / lead for 3.5mm pipe would be much appreciated. Thanks

The link to classiccargeek came up trumps. I've ordered a 25ft length of pipe from him, I already picked up a second hand flaring tool for the pipe so fingers crossed I can now make the rear brake pipes.
Thanks again Panky

Autodoc have stock of calipers in Germany if you can't find stock or 2nd hand here.

Thanks Jaba.
I never really made complicated pipes before, theres a guy used to work on these cars said I should use a socket and wrap pipe around it to get the spiral.
For length thought to use a piece of string along old pipe and add a bit.
Thanks for lead on Autodoc will definitely check that out
