Looking for a pair of rear brake calipers for my 16rs.
One of mine has a seized piston, both have the pipe fitting sheared off flush which I can't shift.
Also source / lead for 3.5mm pipe would be much appreciated. Thanks
Wanted rear brake calipers

Re: Wanted rear brake calipers
The link to classiccargeek came up trumps. I've ordered a 25ft length of pipe from him, I already picked up a second hand flaring tool for the pipe so fingers crossed I can now make the rear brake pipes.
Thanks again Panky

Re: Wanted rear brake calipers
Thanks Jaba.
I never really made complicated pipes before, theres a guy used to work on these cars said I should use a socket and wrap pipe around it to get the spiral.
For length thought to use a piece of string along old pipe and add a bit.
Thanks for lead on Autodoc will definitely check that out

Re: Wanted rear brake calipers
Just updating this thread.
Eventually managed to source a pair of used rear calipers which seller was willing to post.
I tried purchasing new.
Autodoc took my order then refunded it for some reason, I think because the parts were in Germany and they didn't want to post.
Mister Auto say they have these but the order won't go through.
Have to say servicable BX rear brake calipers along with good interior lights are amongst the most difficult parts for any car I've tried to get hold of.
