Bx and c5 speheres

Bx and c5 speheres
Can I get c5 spheres and put them on my BX? I've talked to a mechanic and he said they're compatible, older ones specifically, I couldn't find any information online on that and thought I should ask here. I can't find new BX spheres, only a refill service, so if I can put c5's and they fit I think i should do that.

As Kitch has said. Completely different sphere specs, designed for use with a completely different suspension liquid which likely has different properties. I'd only even consider it in absolute emergency - and then it seems all wrong and quite possibly dangerous.
