BX16RS - Weber 32-34 DRTC Settings

Post by conor1939 »

Hi all,

Think we sucked up some fuel tank gunk in the BX, car wouldn't accelerate happily. Got a rebuild kit and blew the dirt out - no problem.
Putting the carb back on, stupidly never took any reference pics of how the throttle linkage is supposed to sit.

I think the circled lever is the issue, looks like it operates the front barrel?
When the lever is positioned forward the car struggles to idle when the choke is off, and when its set towards the rear the car idles way too high, sounds like its running away.
Does anyone have a photo of how this is meant to sit, and alternatively if you can see anything else wrong here please let me know!
We unscrewed the four jets from the middle of the carb during the rebuild and screwed them back in snug - I don't think there is any adjustment there but let me know if thats not the case!

Thanks!
Conor
