Was this the car that had the big throttle body conversion and all sorts of other mods but could never quite get the power out of it???

It'd be great for me as i could put a diesel engine in it and keep it on the road.

Anybody got a diesel engine going spare???

i do have a diesel engine spare actually, its in uttoxeter i think, a 1.7TD from a 405 estate then i should have everything else needed to make it BX compatable!

It never got the power out because it was never right, the bottom end was dodgy before it got put inot the car then it rattled and shook all over the place at the top. It was totally goosed engine TBH but the body is imacualte (bar some bodges) and if it hasn't already been robbed onto another car then it has my lovely ZX TD compact starter motor on it too!

I would like to see the car saved but theres no way i can afford it, not with my new car and all.

no its not mine tim, but i've spent a good few hours slaving away over it for its previous owner. You should probably go have a read on the 16v forum, the car has something of a tainted past but it does have an award winning shell so cant be half bad!

I think Simran has had it, good job too, he's been after one for ages and less any damage CW's done to it, then it's an imaculate shell!
