And - if it works OK - it's quicker than walking. Just

But then again it doesn't cost about 15p a mile in fuel - unlike a GTi!

No, your right....only just quicker than walking!! Its slow enough with just me inside, yet to experience a full load of passengers and luggage...the car will stay perfectly level, but won't actually go anywhere!!

Hmm, I`m heading that way in 3 weeks time for a holiday. Anyone want to guess what Mrs Cavmad will say if I ask her if the kids and us can go in a two seater recovery truck and come back with a BX on the back :?:

I'd love to know what a BX 14 actually drives like compared to the bigger engined BX's i've had.

£90 a MONTH and 1000 miles at 80ish on Diesel. Plus it will run on chip fat.

So GTI auto - around £1,750 a year on petrol...

A TZD, say £1,050 a year on Diesel. (Less on chip fat   )

Gosh.

That £700 could buy a decent TZD, couldn't it... :-k
