Just saw a '94 diesel AX 5dr go for just over £100 on eBay. I am tempted to get a little diesel runaround. I like this, but it's going to be over £600 I guess (so blows any budget I might have):

But there's no denying it's got the chance of being a good little car. And the thing is it'd probably pay for itself in fuel savings* over seven or eight months...

*opposite an 8v GTi auto!!!

Get a GT....they still do about 40mpg and they're huuuuuuuuuge fun!

Its as fun as the BX 16v easily, even if its slower. Feels like its doing 80mph when its actually doing 50!
