Be worth bidding just to get him to post it for fiver! lol Seriously looks a nice car with whats been done to it.......maybe its a case of the wrong ATF like Alan S has talked about.

Hmm, if it`s not the ATF then it could be an expensive job? `Er indoors wants to learn to drive again and did well last time round in a Cavalier 2.0 automatic.
I know it meant if she passed her test she could only drive an auto but that wouldn`t be a problem.

I sent the seller a message asking if he'd checked the gearbox oil, saying I think it has to be done hot and with the engine running, got a very curt reply back stating he'd been in the motor trade for 24 years and it was the first thing he'd tried.

24 YEARS in the trade :shock: thats probably why he's so rude.
They think it's all over, it is now!

I bet this is another Dextron 2 / Dextron 3 ATF fluid problem. Shame it's so far away from me.
