Northern meet in September?

Post by Barnsley BXer »

Last year I went to the Barclays families day at Radbroke hall near Knutsford,Cheshire.Although I mentioned it on here, nobody else turned up.Could have been something to do with the fact that I only gave a couple of days notice  If anybody is interested,I could get in touch with the organisers and display our cars.By the way,we had a great time :D

Yippee! A meeting not far from me, count me in please BB. I may even have the TD on the road by then, fingers crossed and all that.
Hopefully we can get a few to come along, should be pretty easy to get to for quite a few of us.
For those who don`t know Knutsford is quite easy to access from the M6 and fairly central for most I think, though obviously some of our southern friends will have a trek on their hands.

this is the CCC report for last year
BARCLAYS FAMILIES DAY - SUNDAY 3RD SEPTEMBER
Oh dear oh dear those of you with children/grandchildren really missed out. We had a great day out courtesy of John Hepple. Mollie went on everything (twice) the donkeys, the giant slide, the kid's rides; she won things on the stalls and even played with the ferrets. The band was good, the BBQ surprisingly good, John even managed to get us some blazing sunshine! Unfortunately, we were the only ones who turned up, but no matter, this will be in my diary next year.

Good thinking Ed, can`t wait to put faces to names. Ken, if you`re about somewhere reading this, are you going to make a celebrity appearance?
