Got one!!!

Post by Adam »

I'm the proud owner of a '91 19 TGD, 97K, full citroen servive history and very clean, not exactly what I was looking for but love it all the same. I'm after a few bits and before I trapse the local breakers i'm after some opinions and possibly parts that are for sale.

1. Should I keep the original trim or change the door cards and seats for TZD/GTI? (Dark grey interior, would this look odd?)
2. Sunroof delflector!!!!!!!!! (anyone know where I could find an aftermarket one?)
That's it really chaps, had a few problems recently and thought the BX plan was on the backburner but a mate came up with this and I had too!!!
Toying with the idea of keeping it original and if I do i'm after a decent drivers seat and a sunroof deflector, also very slightly wobbly sppedo needle at low speed is this a worry?

I have a central locking transmitter/receiver from my old TZD if anyone is interested let me know.

Many Thanks and it's good to have one again!!!!!

Some people recon the TGD type seats are more comfortable than the GTi ones. My only comment is that the fabric used may be comfortable but isn't necessarily the hardest wearing.

Sunroof deflector - try Google for an aftermarket one - or a local winscreen / sunroof supplier. Seems they are about £60 and seem to come in 4 different sizes.

Well done adam, changing the interior can be long winded as you the dash sterring wheel and all the trim round the door appatures is aslo grey. I would stick with the grey tweed and see how you get on with them.
