Excuse my ignorance but are they metric alloys on this car? If so might suit you Kitch as if you bought the whole car at the right price you could stick standard wheels back on and sell it as a project to someone?

They certainly look like it, however the later cars did have a 14" version of the same design alloy with a black centre. Near enough though!

Jon, would it not be worth e-mailing or phoning the seller as he seems to have a car business he might let you keep it there until you return? I bet if you agreed a price (he says he`s open to offers) and paid before you went that he wouldn`t mind.
Failing that I`m sure someone would bid on your behalf up to an agreed amount if he`ll keep it there until you return. I`m happy to do that for you if you wish.

Hi Kitch, I'll let you know after tomorrow, if I like them then i'm afraid i'll be keeping them, if not then i'd consider a sell but would need some replacements in the deal. There's a 95% chance i'm buying this tomorrow so please don't bid anyone because I don't want you to be disappointed. If I don't buy i'll post here as soon as I get home tomorrow.

How do you tell if it has aircon? I don't see any obvious controls in the cockpit, is there a tell-tale sign in the engine bay?
