T piece

Post by Way2go »

Need the green T piece that couples the clear breather pipes onto the top of the LHM reservoir.

Drew a blank at GSF and the stealers.

Any ideas on where they (or an alternative) may be available from?

Are you hysteric about the green colour ?

Warning : large grins ahead

warning : evil foolish grins coming up :!:

  muahahaha

use a standard WHITE t-piece as found for sprinklers, airhorns etc.
- and paint it green

If you experience trouble finding a WHITE t-piece - then ask for a BLACK Y-piece instead.
- but these requires 2 layers of green paint

Anyways my bet you'll have trouble paying more than 100pence for it - except if you insist ...

Hi Anders - Have you been on the Elephant beer tonight ? Must get back to Copenhagen to try some more of that.

I will go for any replacement in any colour of the rainbow (or clear) that is able to survive being hit by the bonnet each time it is closed. :D

I have tried a few times but as this is something worth only a few pence I havent found a vendor with sufficient enthusiasm yet!

If you really want green, and indeed the proper part, they are still available from any citroen dealer for less than a couple of quid. I@ve just moved house so everythings a mess and I cant find the parts list but they'll def be able to supply you with one

When a (Cit specialist) garage found a split on the T-piece on my other Meteor, they binned it, cut two small holes in the reservoir cap and inserted the two little breather pipes there. Job's a good'un.
