Belgium BX spotting

Post by Mr B »

Arrived her at 15.30 and was waiting for the people I´am staying with to pilot me in by a roundabout. Within 5 minutes I´d seen a TZI auto estate, and a nod from the driver, a 14TG and an old 17RD. You´d wait a week for that in the UK! I went to a supermarket today and parked next to a silver 14TG. The place to be is Torhout 8)

Belgain BX Spotter's Club (Torhout section)

Post by Mike E (uk) »

I have just returned from Torhout too-small world.
I was in the pug 406, and enjoying the air conditioner.

Saw quite a few BXs there as well. All MK 2s.
Also saw a DS and a couple of CXs.
And a Renault 16 on the road- remember those? It must be the last one left on earth.

What a joy to travel on uncrowded roads!

Plenty of BXs in rural France too (Tom-land) when I was there earlier this year, often to be seen in supermarket car parks. Even some Mark 1s - and of course even a scabby 16RS still goes for a couple of thousand Euros.

And of course there's the wine aspect too..

Small world indeed! I saw a 16 for sale at the side of a road in Torhout, wasn't a light blue one was it?
