in the Motorcyclists' Hazard Perception test video clips. Also a rather lovely XJS. Both of them parked up, so representing a hazard.

I've now got my CBT and my theory, next stop...Casualty.

Congratulations - now make sure you have some decent leathers and a decent ACU Gold lid. And whatever you do - never ever ever think of riding without your gloves on, no matter how bloody hot it is - having worked in Orthopods and A&E I have seen too many people smashed up who were not wearing propper gear. Yet people who do wear decent kit manage to get away with a lot less severe injuries (believe me & you - It is far better to have a busted tib & fib than a degloved hand or foot. - and as for those nasty cheap plastic FM lids they are a bag of shite as they crack and split in a severe impact - I speak from experience and I wasnt going fast). What Marty said. I`ve actually stopped remembering the times when I`d be on my KH250 doing 80 odd in shorts, t-shirt and second hand already damaged and heavily painted lid
Oscar, best of luck for the test and I look foward to seeing you fly past me doing 174mph on your ZZR1100 on the motorway

Been there, done that, got the scars from multiple skin grafts to my right hand & arm. Sound words. Your hands are often the first bit to hit the tarmac - usually at some speed, the surface is just like a cheese grater to your skin.
