2 BX 16valves one phase 1 & 2 for sale

Post by BCXM »

I've have been offered 2 BX 16 Valves both in red.
the phase I I put on ebay not long ago has faded paintwork and is covered in some slimy moss but has 55,000 miles and is in good mechanical order. No aircon though.
The phase II has a slight dent in the O/S rear quarter but has lovely paintwork 205 1.9 GTi alloy wheels but has a hydraulic leak at front. (suspect octopus)
The phase one needs to be around £425
the phase 2 £350
both cars are located near the M25 and can be test driven. MOT's etc can be arranged if needs be...

I haven't set the prices, thats what the guy wants for them..

Wise words a 55k mi lump running with all parts i.e. loom etc is worth a good bit more than £425 to the pug boys :(

I'm going to get the phase I MOT'd from what I can see will need front brake hoses and CV boot for MOT and a good pressure wash and T-cut!!!

Phase II needs Octopus replacing brake pads and discs all round..

Also at the same place a 4x4 saloon which again is mechanically sound but cosmetically challenged..

Crikey. An interesting bunch of BXs. Don't forget yout toothbrush (to scrub all the algae from those 'hard to reach' corners and sunroof edge! )

So long as the interior isn't mouldy, should come up well.

Hi phil,

The interior was mint without any dampness or mould..It's a real shame about the 4x4 saloon which ran fine and the 4 wheel drive apparently works well..But the laquer has come right off on the roof and bonnet..
I've bought most of the stuff there already but I can't take everything on.
