Anyone know what these are off please?

Believed to be from a BX, very likely an early model. I`m about to list them on eBay but haven`t got a scooby what they`re off. Anyone know please? (My hunch is early phase one GTi)...

Thanks, Stewart. Just done a tinternet search (which threw up this quite interesting website http://home.wanadoo.nl/cwdegier/pressphotos.html ) and would appear that they are original GTi/4x4GTi trims.

You know what, I might just do that soon! About time I had another thrash about on the local municipal course with Cavmad junior or some mates with a sneaky hip flask or three stored in our bags!

Early GTi's and I believe the Pilot models.

Okey-dokes folks, hint taken! I was going to put the 16V alloys I have onto the GTi (as well as some other non standard parts) but I like the purity of the it (GTi) and would like to keep it standard. Even the non tinted rear lights look kind of retro cool.
Standard it is then, as soon as I`m feeling fit and back to work I`ll carry on doing work to the GTi to get it somewhere nearer to better condition.

IMHO,a White GTi with original trims looks better than one fitted with alloys

Rare car billy keep it as Citroen intended dude, you wil have to superglue the trims back on to the plasic rings that holds them on to the wheel or they will fly off within miles!

Don't know how to tell you this, but they are not all that exotic but in fact are the ones fitted to my BX Tri Estate that I bought last year.
I have seen pics of them also fitted of Meteors (overweight prosititutes??) in years gone by; basically, plastic mags.

No problem, Alan. I shall put them back on the car (following Tim`s advice) as I think they`ll actually suit the car better than alloys.
