Oil Temp Sensor Needed

Post by roscoe »

Hi Folks
Recently I changed the oil sump in my TZD to an alloy one with the A/C brackets and it has the tapped hole for the oil temperature sensor. Since I've already changed my instrument panel to add in the water temp and oil temp gauges, I figured I might as well try and get a sensor and hook up the oil temp gauge.
I tried Citroen dealers in Australia with no luck so figured I'd see if anyone here as one laying around - the GTis and 16Vs had them - not sure if any other models did - the diesels did not.
Let me know and we can work out something for price and shipping.
cheers,
Roscoe

My spares just been fitted to my dads TD but if you get really stuck I can get you a new one (at cost) and post it out. Would imagine the postage will be more than the sensor though.....

Would have thought Alan S or Shane L would be able to help you out mate?
I assume you're on www.aussiefrogs.com ???

Cheers, Chris. Yes, I'm a member of AF as well- posted this ad on there as well. I had one in my 16V engine I sold Alan - didn't think I'd need it at the time :(
If I don't get any joy over here off the AF forum, I'll get back to you about getting one and posting it over.

cheers, Brian
