BX 16v For Sale

You may have noticed I have been quiet lately and this is due to working on my new extremely rare car. Hence why I have had to decide to sell the 16v. I bought this:

a 1976 Citroen Mehari.

Citroen BX 16v P2 in Silver FOR SALE
142k recent head gasket, cambelt, tensioners, thermo switch and coolant change
5 spheres, 2 new Toyo proxes on the front, and new scorpion backbox.
Just fitted new bottom ball joint, and both track rod ends. one drop link changed too.
new coil, plugs, leads and rotor arm. 2 of the 4 front to rear pipes changed (pipes to complete included)
All fuel pipes changed.
Good car needing little tlc to be great!
Tax & mot until end August 07
Holy Grail just bought so another reluctant sale, I’ll be back!

I'm sure most of you now this car but I will take some fresh pictures when i can in the light and post them on here.

As before this wont be the last 16v I have!

This has got me thinking. If I can find a taker for my GTi auto, I might put my quest for a good diesel auto hatchback on hold

Mmm... initial tentative enquiry with wifey went down like a cold cup of bio-diesel. Must work harder.

Now, who dragged that Mehari to your house? Does that mean it's my fault that you are now getting rid of ANOTHER 16v?! Ditch the ZX diesel instead. You know you need that 16v kick!

Mostly paintwork and detailing, mechanically its very good and drives lovely.

A bargain me thinks!

I think I'll have to pass. I need a daily drive that can be kept outside on the road and deal with the ravages of the wind and rain, and the ever-present threat of pissed-up students and vandals. To subject this lovely example to that wouldn't be right, especially bearing in mind how well-loved it's been. I know I'd hate it if someone took my pride and joy and turned it into their biffabout, so I couldn't live with myself if I did it to someone else's!

Very comendable capri...... just a thought, does anyone know of a valver with aircon?? now that would be a dream machine.....
