Hi all,

Looking for a Steel bonnet in good condition with EWT paint code.

Cash waiting. Will collect in the south, may have to arrange courier elsewhere.

Cheers, Jay.

WHY? extra weight and rust to start with, how will that help the racer?

You might actually have a problem finding one of them in white, most of the early ones are red and most of the late ones green.

You planning on putting Cool Louvres in?

Against:

3.6kg extra weight.

For:

Fire resistant

Can take an interesing bonnet bulge without cracking everytime you drop-shut it.

Leaves my original in standard condition.

It's only an option if theres one laying around, if not i'll use the one off the scrapper & get it painted (paint's crap on it). Getting one already painted just makes it easier & quicker.

I'm guessing you could probably lighten it Jay? Maybe add some corner straps/restraints, then you could remove some strengthening from the underside..?
