I've been to look at this this afternoon. Very nearly came home in it.
It is in good condition with no rust on the rear arches or inner wings. The pipe work looks very good and the engine sounds sweet, the clutch felt very light and has a superb set of tyres. Two TZD wheel trims and two crap ones. The rear wheels show no signs of leaning and the suspension was very soft at the back and about right at the front. Although one of the front struts was sticking slightly.
The bad bits were, the drivers door has the usual kink at the top and a slight but noticeable dent lower down. The nearside rear door also has slight damage but not too noticeable. The car itself was generally dirty inside but no burns or rips in the seat.
The seller seems genuine, he's selling it on behalf of his dad, but wouldn't say how much he would take for it. I eventually made an offer but then half way home he rang back and asked for another £20. So it's still on the bay!
The worrying thing is, he knows it's not a TZD but hasn't altered the listing?
Anyone going to buy this following bidding will be both disappointed and annoyed.
As for the Red TZi, that was at Haworth and as it was getting dark we didn't get to see it. But I'm told it's in about the same condition.
