This Year's CCC National

Post by Philip Chidlow »

In Huntingtonshire I believe - as last year (PLEASE correct me if I'm wrong)??? If so let's start organising the BX 25 Celebration - maybe a Citreon BX 25th Anniversary 1982-2007 sticker and/or flag? I will try to do a booklet ffor that time... We out to talk to the CCC and see if they'd want a special BX parade this year!

Work is starting to happen now in the CCC with regard to making people aware.

Vanny's got some things on the burner at the moment, i'll let him share those things with you though.

The organiser of the event in the CCC is well aware and is wanting the biggest BX turnout ever!!!

I'm just gonna keep plugging it in the mag as i'm a lazy sod!
Over and out from me

theres been plenty of behind the scenes talk about things to make and do at/for the show and plans are slowly coming together, though neither myself nor Mr Fearn want to spoil the surprise too much just yet!

However as a taster, there will be a number of unique prizes for a plethora of activities and a number of group activities for the BX'ers to do! It will mean plenty of support is needed from you in many different forms, and everyone will be asked to assist in a small manner.

Mostly what i need to know right now is;
1) Are you coming??
2) Do you have any ideas for things to do?
3) Can you spare any time to help the running of events on both the Saturday and the Sunday?

1) I will come
2) I think we could have a modest BX stall (OK a pasting table!) with parts (even little bits and pieces that we all have lying around) and ephemera. And stickers - and (hopefully) my BX25 booklet - and so on. Proceeds to go to a charity...
2b) I think a BX quiz would be fun (Saturday night)...
3) If I can, I'll help with the Quiz

Smokes lots, because enough's enough already!

Far too many BX's, a bus, an ambulance a few trucks, not enough time and never enough cash...
