Its not the same mate, it does fit but the proper ph2 16v backbox has an oval tailpipe.

It is the same barring the tail pipe best bet would be to cut off the oval tail bit and weld/attach it to the new TD box to keep the 16v look, or you can still buy SS 16v boxes from Cituning but they are over £150 new.

My 'oval' is like a pair of french nickers mate, looks nasty. Cheapo approach is as suggested...buy a TD box and fit a new similar t/pipe or go for the stainless one but £££££Jezzie 16v wrote:It is the same barring the tail pipe best bet would be to cut off the oval tail bit and weld/attach it to the new TD box to keep the 16v look, or you can still buy SS 16v boxes from Cituning but they are over £150 new.

Nah, it might clean up, but it would last five minutes. Every litre of petrol you burn creates a litre of water. hence it's already rotten from the inside. The oval bit doesn't look that good, it's rolled steel, so yeah, you could cut it off and weld it to a 8v back box, but again, it'll turn to sh!te very quickley.tim leech wrote:Hmm it would clean up and you could paint it, or cut then off and weld it to a new one
I intend to make a pattern from my back box at some point, since I have the ast ever Genuine PSA back box from citroen, then I can make new ones!
