Reg is very similar to the original one my 16v had back in 1991....but thats another story, so I'd ignore that.

Do you mean we should ignore the car, or the story?

Looks ok actually, maybe worth a punt for someone??

Cheers

Smokes lots, because enough's enough already!

Far too many BX's, a bus, an ambulance a few trucks, not enough time and never enough cash...

MOT work looks easy enough and should be sorted in hours. If anyone takes this on I almost certainly have some decent tyres here for it free. Shrewsbury`s not too far away either if someone wants a hand shifting it.

Too much money for a 16 petrol with no MOT no matter how nice it is.

Why don't they get a ticket for it then?? Far more likely to sell...

... for £150.

Although the low mileage might count for summat. But has it had a belt change etc.? If my situation was different I'd have a punt, but what do I need with three identical Meteors??

Cuckoo!

Mark, some people just can`t be bothered. I agree with Tim though it`s too high a start price for as petrol BX with no ticket. Having said that I reckon about £60`s worth of work (not counting tyres) plus about £40 for the test and there`s a useable BX on the road with full test and 6 month`s rent for about £325.

Agreed Billy, just look at that 14E I picked up, 43000 miles fsh and in very good nick but as it had no MOT it went for £62, cost me about the same again toget it MOted, and now its road legal and running sweet.

Problem is with a car with a MOT its a big unknown, I was lucky as all mine needed was a horn, a brake flexi and couple of pipes (non supension) but it could have been a whole lot worse.
