Wiper Blade
Now before you laugh, ok u have already probably started i have the following query which although i sorted, however its not correctly fitted.
I changed the front wiper blade with ease. Righto lets do the rear, so switched ignition on & made rear wiper blade shift so that i could access it easier.
However, i noticed that the arm can only be raised a little bit before the rear spoiler gets in the way, so i had to take off the Bosch adaptor & use the weird one that was on the old wiper blade & attach that to the new wiper blade to get it to fit, however i bust the adaptor so its loose & may come adrift at speed.
So, how do you fit a rear wiper blade (i can hear u laughing ), god i'm crap.....

Theres four bolts holding a baby walker on. Two 10MM bolts each side, one is under the plastic cap, the other you need to remove the black trim that runs up the tailgate.
Much better to fit a whaletail, they look cooler, and dont interfere with the rear wiper arm, oh, and rear visibilty is improved too!
Cheers

Smokes lots, because enough's enough already!
Far too many BX's, a bus, an ambulance a few trucks, not enough time and never enough cash...

I miss the old Citroen Carrying handle
What I miss most about it is those winter days when there is a thick crust of ice on the top of your car then driving down the Dual Carraigeway at 70mph and checking the rear mirror to see chunks of ice caught in the downdraft smashing into a haze as it strikes the spoiler.
Of course in the snowy conditions its more fun as the spoilers help to hold the snow to the back of the car better therefore more of a blizzard effect behind you
This is what 40cm (15 inches Doc ) of snow looks like after driving 40km (25miles) to warmer levels and rinsed with heavy rain last July. Notice how the spoiler and Windscreen wiper handled it
I used a shovel to clear the windscreen and bonnet just it was falling to heavy to clear the whole car and get out of my parking spot. Of course no one tailgated me with that blasting off
Looking forward to trying that this winter with the BX

Well, yes and no.tim leech wrote:Do they use the same holes tho doc? If not it will look unsighlty.
The whale only uses the rear two holes on the hatch for the bolts, it's mostley just glued on, but it covers the front two holes so covers all, er, holes!
A whale never looks unsightley, I was admiring my car today whilst it was being piloted by my mate as I drove the latest purchase, and thought to myself, Jeeeeezzzzz Whaletails are for the win!
Cheers

I can confirm that the baby walker has naff all aerodynamic effect!
Well, ok, it has the tiniest bit, but at road speeds below 100mph its really naff all.
Whails are for the win!
Cheers

The only aerodynamic benefit I noticed was as I said when the ice showered when it hit the spoiler.
The spoilers are really there for show and as a carry handle
Saying that I would like to get hold of another front spoiler, One benefit I found on having that fitted was dispersing spray, less of it is pushed down the front bumper under the wheels. Also in the snowy conditions I did find that the BXs that I had a front spoiler fitted to had a greater chance of pushing thru drifted snow and again seems to help with keeping traction.
