Hi! What happened about your TZD stranded at Matching? Did you get it sorted out??? Tell us of your adventure (assuming it happened!)...

Edited the first message to include update. I guess people didn't see it.

No problems really - picked up the recon alternator at GSF Thurrock, trundled up to Matching in my mate's Freelander, took out old alternator, fitted new one, had lunch and went shopping.

For the record, you can just about get an alternator out without taking anything else off, but there were a couple of nasty moments when it lurched towards the radiator.
