Thought you fancied a "project" valver?
Mind you 250 for a dawg is a bit steep - I expect it may go for a 205 transplant.

A quick jet wash wouldn`t exactly go amiss would it? Unfortunately that looks like a Pugger`s dream.
Where`s Vanny and his wallet when you want them?

That being a E reg with the seperate 16v badge its a very early car with low mileage, definatly worth saving!

Anyone? or will it join the increasing number of 16vs becoming donors.

I would disagree, a decent 16v is pushing a £1000 these days, I cant see that costing that much to get it up and running and it has to be one of the rarest Mk2 BXs about.

If it was in the South East I would easily pay £250 for it all day long. The only 16v mk I I know's bodywork is in worse order than that and the guy wants £400 for it. Just as I had the cheque book out he backed out saying he could get more on ebay  .
I really love the early 16v's thats got to be worth putting back on the road..

I wish I had £250 spare as then I would buy it no question! The suspension pipe at the rear has brokemn so the it doesnt work, hes blanked it off so only the front and the steering works along with the brakes.

The car has had its rear suspension wedged up!

I don't like to be a wet blanket, but cars that have not been driven for years are normally full of problems. Especially old Citroens.

If you did the work yourself, it may be a viable car, but it would still cost hundreds in parts to get it right.

Shame, but I think there are better examples around to save.

Best idea is buy it for spares to keep another BX going.

No idea on how much it will cost until its on your drive i guess, however even working ones cost cash so nothing new their then....

I may be prepared to stump up the loot if someone could take it on & store it somewhere & i could help out fixing things (or at least learn something), anyone interested???

I mirror Mulleys thoughts there, I'd help with purchase costs IF somebody had a place to store it.
