That's one I bid on a few weeks back and although I bid up to £37 it went for £38... Then I get an e-mail saying it's mine for £200. Well, you can imagine my feelings about that. It seems a nice car, but really if you are going to get a mate to bid to stop it selling for too low an amount either put an effing reserve on it or start the bidding higher. It could be all genuine of course

and I was just outbid by someone else who couldn't complete the sale (for £38???). But why come back and offer it for 540% more than I bid?

Thing is, it's still a tempting BX for someone - reserve's probably £200 or less...

I know, if it doesn't sell I'll offer him £38

U could have reported him to ebay. I've had few strange ones where i have bid & lost, however a miracle has occured as the seller has more than 1 item to sell & of course offers them at what my highest bid was, i declined.....

The ones I like are where within minutes of the listing ending, and me finishing as 2nd highest bidder, I get a mail asking if I want the particular item for x amount. It`s even better when the winning bidder has a high positive feedback score, it`s so obvious it`s bent and I always decline the offer.
