Mini BX shoot

Post by Kitch »

Lifted from another forum, the original posting by Alex (Capri)

Well, Kitch and I got itchy feet today so we went out for a quick blat around to take some shots of the two BXs together. Things we have learned today: 1. Good motion shots can be achieved by making the car drive past you slowly. 2. A BX turbodiesel with half a turbo simply hasn't a fart's chance in hell of keeping up with a 16v. 3. Security guards can be little Hitlers. 4. Gravel car parks make cars F*cking Dusty. Anyway, to the pics!

And to finish, a few panning shots captured with the cars in motion. First, the 16v:

And now, the TZD Turbo - looking considerably less composed thanks to its softer suspension and thinner anti-roll bars!

Mr B - That's very kind mate, thank you!

Marty - Technically Kitch has the final say in the copyright of that pic, but I'm sure he'd say go ahead!

Philip - awesome stuff. :D

Stewart - She certainly is being appreciated mate - must be the ideal car for what I need. :D

Tim - thanks chap!

I should just point out that, although it looks like the cars are going quite quickly in some of those shots, they're not! It was a tiny car park so it was all about slow speeds and artful blurring of backgrounds to give the impression of speed. Although, I think the BX's tendency to roll all over the place gave the cornering shots the look of a high-speed magazine road test shot!

ask a silly question...........
Smokes lots, because enough's enough already!

Far too many BX's, a bus, an ambulance a few trucks, not enough time and never enough cash...
