Flippin' 'eck
Now here's a nice one. Someone must know this chap!
VERY pricey, but it still represents a relatively good value car in my estimation. Nice to see a red that is, well, red!

Twelve hundred quid?!?!?!?!

<reads>
Ahhhh he knows Roger Bradford. That explains the price hysteria.

Yup. Lovely. I'm sure it's as nice as he says - and it's a lesson in how to write an ebay description (except for the font size) but I'm afraid there isn't a BX worth that price.
Six to seven hundred tops, imho.
It's a beautiful car, but the real world hasn't given BXs the prices we think they deserve.

Its a very tidy car, looks like it came out of the brochure! But he thinks £1200 is 'troubled Xantia' money?? What planet is that on I wonder? Troubled Xantias fetch about £50 nowadays!
It is too expensive, but I disagree with Bodie here.....some BX's are worth the money. I sold one for £1k last year, and I'm sure there will be more for more.

A moment OT, but what different Mk2 Ph2 rear lights were available? I know of the 'grey' smoked and 'green' smoked. Were these mated to particular coloured cars? For instance did a silver car have the grey and a green car have the green for instance? But red? Handy to know as I seem to have a set of green 'spares' and greys on the TGS.docchevron1472 wrote:hhmm, smoked N/S/R light unit, green tint O/S/R light unit, being red, it should have red tint. tish tish, that knocks a grand straight off for me!

In short.....no!tom wrote:It is a very decent car but not worth more than half that. Roger Bradford has a lot to answer for. Would you buy a used car from one of his mates?
It's silly to think you can name check Mssr Bradford and suddenly a £2.50 grommet is worth £1000....
Philip, you are correct, smoked or tinted lights were fitted depending on body colour, tints available were, blue, green, red, and of course smoked. All you can get now is smoked. I'm not saying anymore on the subject since I'm starting to sound like Tim on wheeltrims...
Smokes lots, because enough's enough already!
Far too many BX's, a bus, an ambulance a few trucks, not enough time and never enough cash...

AH. BUT IF YOU WRITE THE WHOLE EBAY AD LIKE THIS, INCLUDING ALL THE GOOD POINTS,djoptix wrote:MASSIVE TEXT JUST ANNOYS PEOPLE
And then put the bad points in a really small font like this, in an almost unreadable colour, then maybe people will miss them
ebay makes me weep sometimes.
this might be a signature
