On the M5

Post by docchevron »

Coming back to bristol from Stroud this evening I spotted a really tidy BX break in white K9** BHF, a TZD Turbo, the driver blipped his lights and I flashed back!

I overtook him but he stayed behond till I came off at Patchway.

I've never been flashed by a BX driver before, so are you someone on here???
Smokes lots, because enough's enough already!

Far too many BX's, a bus, an ambulance a few trucks, not enough time and never enough cash...

Guilty as charged! Just been up to Birmingham to pick up my TZD Estate, which has been 'resting' on my friends farm for the past year, since I moved to Devon. Checked the levels, blew up the tyres, fitted a fresh battery and away we went! Saw the red 16 valve coming on from the slip road and thought I would say hello. I was using a Xantia Turbo diesel estate but that had the rear passenger door caved in by someone backing into it. As a bare door was £396, plus paint plus fitting etc. etc, the insurance company wrote it off. Nice to be back in my old BX.

Ah, a splendid car you have there mate, it looked really good!

Alas I fooled you! My 16 valve is black, the red one's a turbo diesel! Honest guv!

If you're passing this way again give us a nod and I'll meet you for tea and scones! Or a pint!

Cheers

I was on the M5 on Friday afternoon! On my way to Butlins @ Minehead with my girlfriend in the Meteor to see the All Tomorrow's Parties festival:

Great fun! I have a few pics if anyone's interested.
